  •  El Potrero Chico is the trip that will take your climbing to the next level. If your goal is climbing 5.13 or Yosemite big wall climbing El Potrero Chico is the best place to start. We have a guide and a teacher for all of your climbing needs. All of our programs are custom tailored to fit your needs. Here are some skills that we can help you learn.
    • Bigwall techniques including: Lowering out from an anchor, ascending a fixed rope, cleaning aid pitches, and short fixing.
    • Sport climbing techniques including: More efficient movement skills, safe cleaning on steep routes, better belaying, and physical/ mental training regiments.
    • Self rescue skills including: ascending a stuck rappel rope, loaded weight transfers, escaping the belay, hauling/ helping, Reverso skills, and much more.

     Example Day:

    • We will meet the night before you day unless you arrive on the day you start.
    • If you are using this as a one day course to acquaint yourself with the area we will do a tour and a self rescue over view.
    • We'll decide that night what you want to accomplish and the next day we go right after it. We'll go that night to buy food for the next day.
    • We'll wake up early to accomplish our big wall objective or sleep in to let the sun leave our favorit single pitch crag.
    • Here at EPCCS we are very experienced and strong in multi-pitch and sport climbing. We can help you reach your goals.
    • We can also be hired as spanish speaking guides to some of the more remote and difficult to reach sport climbing areas around Northern Mexico such as: El Salto, La Huasteca, Cueva de las Candelas, Puente de Dios, Culo del Gato.

We also offer five-seven day trips to:

    •  Chonta Quatlan... This is a 200 meter long cave entrance. It is located in the state of Cuerna Cava about 17 hours drive south of El Potrero Chico, or a 2 hour flight and a 4 hour drive
    •
    • Guadalajara... The climbing in and around this shinning city was recently featured in Rock and Ice Magazine. The climbing in Guadalajara is full of every thing from prized hard boulder problems to moderate sport climbs and every thing in between.
    • Mexico City... This trip includes two nights in Mexico City, three days in "Jilotepec" and two days in "Pachuca". Jilotepec is a forest of pine trees and conglomerate towers situated on the hill side in the mountains surounding Mexico City. Pachuca is located a couple hours north of the city in the state of Hidalgo.  This steep sport climbing cave is only matched in beauty by the people of the small colonial mountain town "Mineral del Chico". Pachuca and Mineral del Chico are a short drive from each other.
